Full material and parts traceability on every job
Quality is built into our processes at every level, ensuring your parts fully meet your specifications. We carry out a First Article Inspection on every job, as well as in-batch checking for large production runs. All parts are subject to final inspection before release, including inspection of any processes carried out.
We offer full material, part and process traceability in line with ISO9001:2015, and can provide certification including Certificates of Conformity, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), and 3.1 Mill Certificates for materials.
Our inspection department is fully equipped with calibrated inspection equipment, and we are currently building a temperature-controlled inspection room to house a new CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
Upon receipt of order, drawings and models are checked for correct revision and format. A works order is prepared and material sourced in line with customers' requirements.
The job goes into production. The first part is fully inspected and signed off at each stage of production. The works order stays with the job to ensure full traceability at all stages.
When all parts are finished, they are returned for a full final inspection. Once signed off, the works order is released for further processes, or delivery.
Sub-contract and auxiliary processes, such as assembly, plating or heat treatment, are carried out by our approved suppliers, and are inspected again once these processes are complete.
The goods are then checked against the customer order for conformity, and final paperwork is produced, including any certificates required. The job is then released for packing, delivery or collection.
